Daphnae: Simple Panels

Lumber left at the end of construction projects, and rough milled boards cut from logs found in the woods - I use these pieces as I find them, without altering their size or shape. I then follow the flaws and knots as I carve the surface. Full of texture and presence, these become the canvases I respond to in a dialog with my materials.
